Privacy Policy

InstaSeer helps users search, organize, compare, and export information from visible public social posts. InstaSeer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or Meta.

InstaSeer works with visible public posts. It does not access private accounts, private metrics, reach, saves, demographics, ad spend, conversions, or official platform analytics. Reports show what was loaded and keep source links attached so you can verify the evidence.

1. Information We Collect

We collect account information such as email address, password authentication information stored as a password hash, account status, plan, subscription status, and password reset metadata.

We use Stripe for subscriptions and payments. We do not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may provide customer ID, subscription ID, plan, payment status, and limited billing metadata needed to manage your account.

We collect usage information such as searches you run, public handles searched, requested post or reel count, result source, timing, cache status, feature usage, and error categories.

If you contact support, we collect the name, email address, category, subject, message, page URL, ticket status, and email delivery status needed to respond and manage the support queue.

InstaSeer processes public profile and public post or reel information returned by third-party data providers or cached sample data. This may include public captions, post dates, media type, engagement counts, source links, and similar public metadata.

We may collect basic analytics and technical information such as browser type, page views, referring pages, approximate location from analytics providers, and interactions with the site.

We may use security and anti-abuse tools such as Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated abuse, protect accounts, rate limit activity, and prevent fraud.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate InstaSeer.
• Create and manage accounts.
• Process subscriptions, cancellations, billing portal access, and plan limits.
• Run searches, show reports, cache results, and generate exports.
• Send password reset emails, welcome emails, support replies, support ticket notifications, and important service notices.
• Monitor app health, provider behavior, cache performance, and errors.
• Improve product design, onboarding, pricing, and reliability.
• Prevent spam, abuse, fraud, scraping misuse, and unauthorized access.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate InstaSeer, including Stripe for billing, Resend or another email provider for transactional email, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager for analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile or similar tools for bot prevention, Apify or similar providers for public web data retrieval, and hosting, database, logging, and infrastructure providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets.

4. Public Instagram Data

InstaSeer is designed for public profile research. Users are responsible for using InstaSeer lawfully and respectfully.

Because public web content can change, be removed, be incomplete, or be returned differently by providers, InstaSeer does not guarantee that any report includes a complete account history or every public post or reel.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect sessions, remember app state needed for product features, measure traffic and product usage, and prevent fraud and abuse.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are blocked.

6. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, manage accounts, enforce limits, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and improve reliability.

Cached public report data may be retained to improve speed, reduce duplicate provider calls, and control costs.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for using a strong password.

8. Your Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of certain personal information.

You may cancel or manage your subscription through Stripe or the billing portal, request account deletion by contacting us, and opt out of some analytics through browser settings or available privacy controls.

Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, or operational reasons.

9. Children

InstaSeer is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. International Users

InstaSeer is operated from Thailand. If you access the service from outside Thailand, your information may be processed in Thailand, the United States, or other countries where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will show when it was last changed. Continued use of InstaSeer after an update means you accept the updated policy.
